Visiting Annapolis

The last couple of days of October, Halloween, was such an epic weekend - great memories to have when ending my trip to the USA. This will be blog 1 of 2 (so keep an eye out for it).

On Sunday, Carol took me to a couple of places place on the way to her home in Gibson Island, we stopped by an Italian place where we met up with her sister as they were nearby. We all had a lovely chat devoured a meatball/sausage sub and went to find cannoli, tiramisu and chocolate mousse. The cannolis were delicious!

Then we stopped in Annapolis by the harbour which was the sweetest town in Baltimore! It was like being in a Hallmark movie or Halloweentown!

This town had many things going on, Pumpkin carving competition, dress-up competition and so on!

Carol and I went into the Museum of Historic Annapolis because we thought it would be connected to Mount Clare and it was! So we took time and went around the museum and then walked through the streets of Annapolis!

On the way out, we stopped by The Governers House in Baltimore as it was such a detailed building in the whole of Annapolis!

Also, Annapolis is also a place where the most strict college is based - USNA: United States Naval Academy! There are over 5,500 students at this Academy - they were also all over town, especially with their families - think the Church mass was on also!
