Another Day, Another Design...

Sorry, I have been really quiet this week. I've been taking time for myself again! I want to tell you that I have been here for 3 weeks already!

In the past few days, I have been working on another design of Mount Clare House - a couple of weeks ago I worked on the plan for 1908 which I loved doing and now I am getting into the flow of making another design!

Now I am focusing on the 1770s:


This is what I have been working on in the last few days and figuring out how to make it really interesting for clients to see when visiting Mount Clare House - I was reading the book that Krista gave me to give me more idea of what design they used in the 1770s. I really enjoyed reading all about what went on back in those days and finding out what the culture was like.



I worked on this design a bit more and just realised that they had a water fountain in front one year and with gravel road around it - this was fun trying to fit it all in.

From 5th September - I am going away on a mini holiday again to the most beautiful Island in Baltimore. Keep your eyes peeled for those images!

Day 9, 10 & 11: Taking Time to Myself

  Those last few days, I have been taking some time for myself and started working on the 3D Design project for Mount Clare House. It took me a while to get my thinking around the plans because I was told that the plans were wrong by the architects and I had to make sure they would be correct before sending them to Lucy and Kritsa. This is the set of floor plans that I was given... Front View Rear View As you can see that the plans are not accurate at all! I had to research the online website of Mount Clare, the book and my images to see if everything is in place?! As well as using old historic photos and drawings of Mount Clare So I have been doing this for three days because I wanted to get started on the first designs out of 5 different building layouts. This is number one: On Day 11, it was again another one of my favourite days where I got to work with all the details of the house to put it all into this program... This is the overview of my work on Mount Clare House.

New York, New York! 🎶

  Hello everyone!! So sorry that I have been so quiet over the last couple of weeks as I have been busy working and taking multiple weekend trips! On the weekend of 16th October , my sponsor and his family invited and gave me a lifetime trip to NYC as part of their family trip - my sponsor wanted me to experience what NYC is like before I leave to return to the UK! The first night (16th) we arrived in New York by 1 pm, checked into our very posh hotel then went off for a walk through Central Park and went by our very first museum of the day! Central Park Central Park was absolutely stunning this fall! All the leaves turned into beautiful colours and the skyline of NYC is one of the best views you have ever seen in your life!! We walked around the park for maybe 30 mins or so, grabbed food then headed to The Metropolitan Museum of Art for the day before heading down to Broadway to see a show.
